Equation:
(196x² + y² - 1) × (196y² + x² - 1)
× (49x² + 98x + y² + y + 49) × (49x² + 98x + y² - y + 49)
× (49y² - 98y + x² + x + 49) × (49y² - 98y + x² - x + 49)
= 100000000
Note:
The swastika here is an ancient Buddhist symbol, not the Nazi one.
It means good luck, auspiciousness, well-being, and prosperity.
The pronunciation of the character 卍 (wàn) in Chinese is the same
as that of the character 萬 or 万 (means 10,000 or ten thousand).
Rewrite the above equation as
we see that it is really an equation for good luck.
(It uses the lucky number 7 to produce good luck!)

Interesting how just a shape can be creepy. Very interesting equation, though. Got playing with it on desmos... https://www.desmos.com/calculator/de80e9t90j
ReplyDeleteI found a swastica that is really really simple: y^{10^4}-x^{10^4}=xy
ReplyDeletewell, it works with x^50 - y^50 = xy as well, even though its not as accurate, but it works with ^100,^10 and if u have some imagination even with ^4
Deleteyou need to swap the x and y around to actually get a swastica
Deletedikke merci
DeleteThat's a racist version of swastika tho. Left-facing, depicted here, is a politically correct version.
DeleteWell it works well even with (x^20)-(y^20)=xy OR (y^20)-(x^20)=xy
ReplyDeletedikke merci
ReplyDeletewhy i get syntax error when i do Y^20 ? but for x^20 it work
ReplyDeleteY should not be uppercase
